Job Summary
Trim and remove trees, prune, thin, and remove deadwood from tree canopies while installing cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems. Operate as an active crew member with ground support, performing all tree pruning and removal services safely using Davey's DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems. Maintain, prepare, and operate chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program, First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire. Travel up to 25% across the U.S. Join one of the nation's largest employee-owned companies delivering research-driven tree services and environmental consulting.
Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Up to 25% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights
- Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
