Job Summary
Prepare full-service tax returns, provide personalized tax advice, and conduct discovery sessions to maximize refunds and optimize deductions for clients. Represent TurboTax locally by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through proactive outreach and community events. Deliver exceptional customer experiences by connecting personally to build trust, addressing inquiries, and utilizing video communication tools for virtual support. Work onsite at a retail location on a flexible 25–34 hour weekly schedule, including evenings and weekends, with the ability to increase hours during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Proficiency with professional tax preparation software
- Full availability for a flexible 25–34 hour weekly schedule, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to increase hours during peak seasons
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
