Job Summary
Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients and provide expert explanation, preparation, and completion of accurate tax-related forms for multi-year, multi-state, and year-end tax returns. Collect and process client tax payments while ensuring timely deposits, then provide IRS audit support, obtain signatures, and e-file forms to IRS and state agencies. Answer tax questions and advise clients on future tax planning after completing online training. Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration. Work flexible weekday and weekend full-time schedules in Covington, Georgia. Salary based on experience with available commission and performance bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 yr paid tax preparer
- Able to work flexible hours
- Part of a military family that moves often
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Tax Planning, Accounting, or Financial Planning experience is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
