Job Summary
Serve in-person customers at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location, providing full-service tax return preparation, advice, calculations, and software support. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and driving client loyalty through local marketing efforts. Deliver personalized tax solutions, including deductions optimization and future planning, while building long-term trust to convert one-time transactions into multi-year relationships. Manage inquiries via in-person interaction and video communication tools within a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
