Job Summary
Prepare full-service tax returns and provide personalized tax advice to in-person customers using TurboTax products, handling everything from deductions optimization to complex business income scenarios. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and driving local growth through marketing support and social content creation. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by building long-term trust, addressing inquiries, and helping clients achieve financial goals like retirement savings and college funds. Work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
