Job Summary
Experienced Tax Associate responsible for preparing diverse tax returns ( individuals, corporations including C-Corps and S-Corps, partnerships, trusts, estates ), managing multi-state and international compliance, and supporting tax planning analyses to reduce exposure. Collaborate with senior team members on engagements, perform federal/state tax research, and ensure timely, high-quality services in alignment with client deadlines. In-person role based in our Boston, Providence, or Newport offices with opportunities to engage in ad hoc projects and professional development; proficiency with tax software (CCH Axcess, SurePrep, XCM) and strong communication skills are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-3+ years prior experience in public accounting (busy season experience highly preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to work in-person in our Boston, MA, Providence, RI or Newport, RI offices
- Proficiency with tax and accounting technology; experience with CCH Axcess, SurePrep, and XCM is highly preferred
