Job Summary
Perform alterations for high-end garments including suits, shirts, coats, blazers, dresses, and trousers, ensuring proper sizing and professional finish. Adjust sleeves, taper sides, lower collars, and modify trousers waists, seats, and rises. Manage client interactions with professionalism while tracking daily production and maintaining a clean work environment. Complete all work promptly to meet customer delivery dates in a fast-paced, fully on-site office. Requires 25 weekly hours at $27.00 per hour with a background check.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of tailoring experience in a retail or customer-service environment
- Strong working knowledge of garment construction in men's and women's apparel and ability to perform high-quality workmanship including hand and by machine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently with a strong organization of time
- Must be able to work quickly in a fast-paced office environment
- This is a fully on-site position, with attendance required
