Job Summary
Mechanically deal table games in a proficient manner according to company policies, gaming regulations, and house rules. Handle guest transactions, exchange currency for chips, and collect or pay bets accurately. Notify supervisors of any irregularities, disputes, or arguments during games while maintaining outstanding guest service standards. Assist with cleanliness of the casino property and comply with all established policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires a gaming license, high school diploma, and ability to work flexible shifts including holidays. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work in a loud, bright, and smoky environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with Team members and guests
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Ability to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
- Able to obtain and retain gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s)
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time
- See, walk, talk and hear as well as using hands to handle, feel and reach gaming equipment (cards, chips, dice, shuffle devices, etc)
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to identify colors
- Be able to turn your upper body at least 60 degrees
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting
- Must be able to work in a loud, bright, and/or smoky environment
