Communicate surgery details clearly with patients and coordinate with hospitals, surgery centers, and ancillary providers like anesthesia. Ensure all pre-operative requirements are completed, collect applicable financial responsibility, and complete FMLA paperwork within required timelines. Schedule post-operative follow-up appointments, enter and maintain accurate patient information in the EHR system, and manage task queues to ensure timely follow-up. Provide excellent customer service while handling a high volume of calls and adhering to strict HIPAA guidelines in a fast-paced office-based setting.
