Experienced Staff Auditor

Job Summary
Communicate with client and firm associate requests, establish effective client relationships through regular on-site visits, and adhere to prescribed budgets and deadlines. Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures in accordance with firm standards, prepare financial statements and footnotes, and use data analysis skills to discover patterns for recommendations. Proactively identify process improvement opportunities, recognize potential issues, and discuss findings with engagement leaders while developing technical competency in GAAP and accounting procedures. Participate in continuing professional education programs to maintain and enhance expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- 6 - 18 months of job related experience
- Above average competency in accounting as demonstrated by college GPA; Minimum 3.2 GPA
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire
- CPA eligibility
- Actively pursuing CPA certification
- An accounting internship experience
- Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computers skills; proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
- Experience with accounting software
- High level of organization, focus, exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
Desired Qualifications
- CPA eligibility and actively pursuing CPA certification preferred
- An accounting internship experience preferred
- Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data
