Job Summary
Experienced Software Engineer at JPMorganChase in the Global Technology team contributes to scalable, secure, and high-quality production code using Java or Python. Responsibilities include designing and developing scalable systems, troubleshooting, producing architecture and design artifacts, analyzing large data sets for continuous improvement, identifying data patterns to drive coding and architectural improvements, and participating in communities of practice. Role supports either Full Stack or Back End work across diverse product areas such as mobile features, big data analytics, payments innovation, or cloud integrations, within an agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in Java or Python languages
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
