Job Summary
Experienced Senior-level Java-focused software developer role in Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center. Responsible for designing and delivering full-stack Java applications, leading technical efforts, and integrating complex components into a cohesive system. Tasks include creating polished, user-friendly applications for large, aviation-related systems; estimating work, refining product backlogs with the Product Owner, raising impediments, and delivering working software on sprint plans. Must be proficient with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST/Web Services, frontend JavaScript frameworks, Azure cloud services, DevOps/CI-CD practices, and testability design. Role accommodates relocation within India; visa sponsorship not offered. The position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on knowledge in designing and developing full-stack modules and components for various applications.
- Excellent programming skills in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST-based Web Services, SOA.
- Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Java and UML.
- Experience with Software Design Patterns, Standards and Best Practices.
- Experience with Azure Cloud (Azure App Services/Functions) and Azure PaaS services.
- Experience in automated test environments/TDD/JUNIT.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL (MS SQL).
- Frontend experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, ReactJS, BackboneJS, NodeJS).
- Backend experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA, Service Discovery.
- Experience with release tools (VSTS, Artifactory, GitLab, Maven) and configuration management (Chef).
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD using Microsoft DevOps.
- Ability to work in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
- Exposure to aviation domain is desirable.
