Job Summary
Experienced Slitter Operator with team-lead responsibilities sought for first-shift in a steel/metals production environment. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating slitting machines in a steel or metals environment
- Strong understanding of steel properties and ability to identify material defects
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform decimal-to-inch conversions accurately
- Experience working with heavy machinery in a production setting
- Strong computer skills for data entry, reporting, and system updates
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead and support a team
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
