Job Summary
Perform all preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency road service calls while conducting DOT inspections. Utilize diagnostic platforms like J-Pro and FleetCross to diagnose and repair engine, emissions, drivetrain, wheel-end, air brake, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems. Complete work orders accurately, maintain shop cleanliness, and ensure tools and vehicles meet safety standards. Work weekends, holidays, and nights as required, with on-call assignments. Obtain and maintain ASE certifications in diesel, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC. Join a team offering a 3-week training program, 401K, and a clear path to Tech IV.
Required Qualifications
- Air Brake Certification
- DOT Medical Card
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Ability to attend and successfully complete HVAC, Electrical, and DOT training
- Ability to obtain required ASE, DOT, and other certifications
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, nights, and on-call schedules as needed
- Reliable transportation and phone
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (as applicable)
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members and deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
- Ability to work in shop and roadside environments under varying conditions
- Physical attendance at the primary work location
