Job Summary
Perform all preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency road service calls while conducting DOT inspections to ensure regulatory compliance. Diagnose and repair vehicle systems using J-Pro, FleetCross, and OE software, covering intermediate to advanced engine, emissions, drivetrain, wheel-end, air brake, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC repairs. Complete work orders accurately and document labor, parts, and warranty information. Maintain shop cleanliness and tool safety, adhere to OSHA requirements, and provide professional customer service. Requires ASE certifications, DOT Medical Card, and Air Brake Certification.
Required Qualifications
- Air Brake Certification
- DOT Medical Card
- Valid driver's license
- Insurable driving record
- Ability to attend and successfully complete HVAC, Electrical, and DOT training
- Ability to obtain required ASE, DOT, and other certifications
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, nights, and on-call schedules as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Phone
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
- Ability to work in shop and roadside environments under varying conditions
- Physical attendance at the primary work location
