Job Summary
Sew upholstery covers, cushions, pillows, and furniture components using industrial sewing equipment. Match patterns, align fabrics, and maintain proper seam placement to meet quality standards. Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and production requirements. Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain productivity while meeting established quality expectations. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial sewing experience, preferably in furniture manufacturing
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines
- Ability to read and follow production specifications and patterns
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
