Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, service, and repair motorcycles and powersports vehicles by applying existing mechanical skills while learning powersports-specific systems. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, engine, and drivability concerns, perform preventative maintenance, and identify additional repair needs during inspections. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship, communicating findings with service advisors, and documenting all service records accurately. Follow established safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and lift equipment weighing 50+ lbs. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional automotive, diesel, powersports, small engine, equipment repair, or related mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical concerns
- Ability and willingness to learn motorcycle and powersports repair procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining repair quality and safety standards
- Basic computer skills for service documentation and repair orders
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must own tools required to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and safely maneuver motorcycles and powersports equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
