Job Summary
Diagnose and repair most vehicle components with little supervision, performing work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per dealership and factory standards. Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required, communicating immediately with the service advisor if additional work is needed or repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order, road test vehicles when required, and participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs while staying abreast of technical bulletins. Maintain a valid driver's license and use diagnostic equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive and engine repair experience preferred
