Job Summary
Greet customers, schedule service appointments, and obtain vehicle data before arrival. Write up vehicle issues accurately on repair orders, test drive vehicles to confirm problems, and recommend necessary maintenance per manufacturer specifications. Provide complete cost estimates for labor and parts, establish promised times, and obtain customer signatures and payment approvals. Monitor repair progress throughout the day, explain charges and time requirements, and close repair orders after verifying completed work. Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and maintain a clean, professional service department environment. Requires 2+ years of service advisor experience, advanced computer skills in Reynolds, and adherence to dealership policies.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience in service or a related field
- 2+ years' experience as service advisor or related position
- Advance computer skills, specifically in Reynolds and Reynolds
- Understand the importance of and maintains confidentiality
- Understand and follow work rules, policies, and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Motor vehicle record
