Job Summary
Senior GNC Engineer responsible for gathering and documenting GNC requirements, leveraging multidisciplinary data to build a nonlinear 6-DoF simulation, designing flight control laws and tools to meet performance targets, validating models with test data, developing supplementary controllers and mode logic, collaborating with flight-simulation and VMS teams to integrate control laws into operational flight programs, supporting flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and flight testing, and authoring engineering documentation and design trade studies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years' related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with system and component modeling
- Experience with real-time systems and programming (C/C++)
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX
- Ability to obtain U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
- Relocation eligibility may be required
