Job Summary
Consult clients to identify operational goals, translate needs into detailed specifications, and document current state workflows. Analyze and modify designated systems by completing configuration, testing, and documentation while ensuring deliverable deadlines are met. Investigate alternative solutions using vendor analysis, prepare action plans, and implement necessary changes for optimization and application support. Supervise day-to-day workload on assigned engagements, review work product, and lead team development to reach project objectives. Travel up to 100% locally or domestically as required by client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- five (5) or more years of industry experience with EHR/Practice Management vendor systems
- degree focus in Information Technology or Information Systems
- Three (3) or more years of healthcare industry experience
- experience with a vendor or consulting organization
- experience within a large provider-based delivery system
- Experience with EHR/Practice Management vendor systems such as Epic, Cerner, athenaIDX, Allscripts
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Visio
