Job Summary
Conduct daily room and public area checks against performance standards, completing checklists for each unit. Execute cleaning duties, manage linen and stock ordering, and ensure all equipment is maintained to high specifications. Train new staff within the first week of employment, assess re-training needs, and deliver targeted instruction to meet departmental policies. Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance to confirm ready rooms, handle guest laundry and lost property, and respond to requests with urgency. Monitor stock levels, perform regular stocktaking, and maintain safe work habits using proper manual and chemical handling techniques.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years experience in Housekeeping
- Guaranteed 30 hours per week, day, evening and weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced in the luxury market, previous 5 Star experience preferred
- Sound knowledge of Opera, preferred
- Well groomed & articulate in communication
