Job Summary
Experienced Preschool/School-Age Teacher responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring less experienced teachers; managing a safe, nurturing classroom; implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool; creating a play-and-learn environment; communicating with parents via mobile apps and discussions; supporting enrollment and engagement goals; and building relationships with families and staff to foster a dynamic, child-centered learning community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- BSAC
- NC Credentials
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
