Job Summary
Perform facility maintenance, repair, and construction using hand, power, and heavy equipment such as backhoes and skid-steers. Assist in installing and repairing piping, valves, pumps, and motors while driving the crew truck to transport tools and equipment safely. Conduct daily equipment inspections, perform general cleanup duties, and cross-train across divisions as needed. Operate in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments requiring the ability to lift 75 lbs. Maintain a positive safety culture by complying with all policies and codes. This full-time role involves long hours, after-hours work, and weekend availability. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license with a clean record and pass drug and alcohol screenings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient use of hand and power tools
- Report to work as scheduled
- Knowledge and ability to install and repair valves, pumps and motors
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record and meet the insurance requirements (if driving)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to develop and maintain strong work relations with team
- Must have effective communication skills
- Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be willing to work as needed, including nights and weekends
- Must be able to build trust and promote a positive safety culture
- Must be able to life 75 lbs and hand physical demanding work
- Must be adaptable to changing field conditions and operational demands
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening, participate in the random testing pool and remain drug & alcohol free throughout employment
- Must pass a motor vehicle record check and background check
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Must be able to work in an outside environment
- Must be able to work in extreme cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to dust, noise and potential hazards associated within a manufacturing/construction site
- Must be able to perform physical exertion
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating forklift/skid steer preferred
