Job Summary
Experienced RN for the Medical ICU (MICU) on nights. Provides high-quality nursing care, administers medications, initiates and monitors IV infusions and blood products, monitors patient responses, documents changes, assists physicians with exams and procedures, and coordinates care with the care team and families. Requires RN licensure in Oklahoma (or eNLC multistate) and BLS; education path includes Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; RN II/III levels with 3–5+ years of patient-care experience. Emphasizes professional development, adherence to OU Health values, and delivering safe, compassionate care in a 36-bed MICU setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License (RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC))
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire
