Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care on the H70 Orthopedic Unit, implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans, monitor and document patient conditions, administer prescribed medications and treatments, carry out physician and nursing orders, assess and coordinate discharge needs, and educate patients and families. Role requires ADN or BSN, current RN licensure, BLS, and two years of related nursing experience. Work rotating day/night shifts (7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am); relocation assistance may be available. Physical requirements include lifting, standing, and exposure to fluids; standard precautions practiced. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- External applicants must have two years recent related nursing experience
- Will consider licensed military RN experience
