Job Summary
Ambu seeks an Experienced R&D Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering team at the Innovation Site, working on development of future medical devices. You will participate in the full development cycle, contribute as a mechanical designer or lead, translate concepts into prototypes, ensure manufacturability for high-volume production, and maintain documentation per FDA and ISO standards (including FMEA, risk assessments, and tolerance analyses). You will collaborate with internal and external partners across Germany, Denmark, and Malaysia, applying CAD tools (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, Catia) and hands-on experience in micromanufacturing, microparts, and safety-critical product design. Preferred candidates have experience with hearing aids or similar precision devices, strong English communication, and a proactive, leadership-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Technical or scientific course of study in mechanical/medical engineering or equivalent
