Job Summary
Experienced Quality Production Specialist (FAI) leading First Article Inspection activities. Responsible for training staff on inspection processes (First Article, Lab Controlled at Source, Inbound/Outbound Inspection) and managing disposition of non-conforming products. Includes review and approval of First Articles from suppliers and performing First Articles for customer submissions. Must meet export control requirements as a U.S. Person; position involves aerospace-practice quality standards and a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of related quality experience
- 4+ years of experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection
- 4+ years of experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gauges, comparator
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102
- 4+ years’ experience reading and interpret blueprints
- Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
- Passing a documented color and near vision exam
- Must meet export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15)
