Job Summary
Conduct daily manual testing of client-facing tools, plan and execute regression tests, and write UI automation scripts using Java/Selenide or TypeScript/Playwright. Manage test cases in Zephyr, document bugs in JIRA, and validate research data for feedback to the team. Collaborate with developers and product management to clarify requirements and ensure alignment between delivery and validation. Perform SQL database querying and incorporate AI tools to accelerate feedback cycles and stabilize releases. This role supports IDC's AI-powered intelligence platforms, directly impacting customer trust and release productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software testing
- Experience in manual and automated testing
- Experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Selenide, Playwright)
- Knowledge of programming languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript)
- Knowledge of database querying (SQL)
- Willingness to experiment and incorporate AI tools into daily work to increase quality and efficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with API testing, performance, security testing
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
