Job Summary

Conduct property security patrols, manage client interactions, and de-escalate conflicts while ensuring all post orders and assigned rounds are completed. Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity, utilizing technology devices and conducting property tours. Fill call-offs, cover requested days off, and handle special assignments as a Flex Officer. Perform duties in all weather conditions with 75% to 80% standing/walking, requiring a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Work 2nd or 3rd shifts including weekends and holidays, with interviews held in-person at the Fairview Heights office.

Required Qualifications

2 years of experience in security or a related field
Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for an Illinois PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois
Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or be willing to complete a GED program
Average computer skills needed
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
Must have a professional demeanor
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and walk up/down flights of stairs and/or ladders
