Job Summary
Operate, set up, clean, and support food production and packaging equipment while performing tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently. Monitor equipment, materials, product flow, and finished product quality; identify problems or inconsistencies and communicate them promptly. Complete basic production records and computer/data-entry tasks, support syrup handling, barrel washing, and packaging operations, and move between tasks as priorities change. Cross-train on multiple processes and help train others as skills develop. Participate in continuous improvement by identifying better, safer, or more efficient ways to perform work. First shift runs Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing or production experience
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work safely around production machinery
- Ability to follow written procedures, quality requirements, and production instructions
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to changing priorities
- Willingness and ability to learn new equipment, processes, and responsibilities
- Constructive attitude and ability to work effectively with different personalities
- Ability to accept feedback, learn from mistakes, and improve
- Willingness to cross-train and help others learn
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for a 10-hour shift
- Ability to safely access, operate, adjust, and clean production equipment throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years old
