Experienced Production Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Develop and implement manufacturing processes to support production needs and operational objectives. Define production activities, resolve limited-scope issues, and investigate product defects to develop corrective and preventive solutions. Review technical documents, analyze charging trends, and support staffing forecasts. Lead projects, participate in research efforts, and serve as the primary interface with internal customers to translate data into actionable implementation plans. Compile management status reports for corrective and preventive actions. This role requires a first-shift schedule with up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing and implementing process improvement initiatives in manufacturing or production processes
- 3+ years of experience analyzing data, identifying issues and making recommendations for improvements associated with a value stream that resulted in change and improved business position
- Ability to investigate, define, and resolve complex issues using methodical approach to issue definition and resolution
- Experience communicating technical details clearly and concisely with customers and cross functional teams
- Experience in project management for small and large projects
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 1+ Experience supporting staffing analysis, capital planning, or equipment implementation
- Familiarity with corrective and preventive action processes
- Experience serving as a point of contact for internal customers and stakeholders
- Coordinate resources to enhance operational efficiency
