Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to establish treatment baselines, then design and implement individualized plans using therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment-based interventions. Provide educational resources on body mechanics and injury prevention while regularly assessing progress to make evidence-based modifications to treatment protocols. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to coordinate care and maintain accurate patient records for compliance. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a state-of-the-art Miami facility, serving diverse populations including orthopedic and post-surgical patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a relevant rehabilitation setting
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Additional experience in specialized areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatrics, or neurological disorders
- Familiarity with outcome-based rehabilitation practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
