Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals and create tailored treatment plans for orthopedic conditions. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop individualized care and rehabilitation strategies. Implement non-surgical interventions, design customized fitness programs, and monitor outcomes through ongoing assessment to adjust care as needed. Document all services in compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to align care strategies. Educate and motivate patients on health, mobility, and lifestyle changes to support their recovery journeys. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm as part of a team of licensed physical therapists and assistants.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active Virginia state license as a Physical Therapist, with no disciplinary actions on record
- Proven clinical skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT EMR Software
