Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. Implement targeted therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercises, and functional training to restore mobility and reduce pain. Provide patient education on recovery processes, monitor progress, and adjust plans per physician directives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinicians to enhance outcomes while maintaining accurate records. Achieve minimum utilization targets with outstanding customer service. Requires a DPT, state license, two years clinical experience, and CPR certification. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid State License as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in delivering quality physical therapy services.
- A current CPR certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively connect with patients and team members.
- Proficient in computer skills including word processing and patient management software.
- Ability to build rapport with patients and foster trust, encouraging them to engage fully in their recovery journey.
Desired Qualifications
- Additional experience in specialty areas such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with treatment methodologies such as manual therapy techniques or therapeutic exercise programs will be seen as advantageous.
