Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient conditions and formulate tailored treatment plans for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Develop personalized therapy programs to enhance strength and mobility, utilizing manual therapy techniques such as myofascial release and joint mobilization to alleviate pain. Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises while continuously monitoring progress to adjust strategies based on evolving needs. Maintain accurate patient records using the WebPT EMR system within a collaborative outpatient clinic environment operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current New Jersey physical therapy license in good standing
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or orthopedic setting
- Demonstrable expertise in manual therapy techniques and modalities
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT
- Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience with specialized treatment techniques, such as dry needling or sports rehabilitation
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
