Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities following injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Develop tailored treatment plans and implement therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment. Monitor progress and document outcomes while adjusting strategies based on ongoing feedback. Educate patients and families on exercise regimens, assistive devices, and pain management techniques. Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through continuous professional development activities. This outpatient role in Dulles, Virginia, serves children and adults across diverse diagnoses within a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and patient management
- A flexible, adaptable approach to patient care
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience
