Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based protocols tailored to unique needs while communicating findings and goals to patients and families. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including specialists and nurses, to adjust care plans and manage discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation for all interactions and follow-up care. Work onsite at our Blacksburg facility serving patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- Strong communication skills
- Empathy
- Passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals
Desired Qualifications
- At least two to three years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation
- Experience working with diverse patient demographics
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other health management software systems
