Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to establish rehabilitation needs and objectives, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, manual techniques, and therapeutic exercise regimes. Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting approaches in collaboration with team members while educating patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention. Utilize advanced modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and hydrotherapy to enhance recovery for a diverse population ranging from athletes to elderly patients. Stay abreast of latest trends and actively engage in team meetings to share insights.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in physical therapy
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating time management and organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload effectively
