Job Summary
Evaluate and diagnose patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions, then develop individualized treatment plans incorporating exercise regimens, manual therapy, and adaptive equipment. Implement protocols, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as patient conditions evolve. Document sessions accurately in electronic health records and guide patients and families on home rehabilitation exercises and assistive device usage. Maintain current CPR certification and stay current with professional advancements through continued education. Requires a Bachelor's or preferred Doctorate in Physical Therapy, a New Jersey state license, and two years of related experience. Flexible work schedule available Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency, particularly with EHR systems
- Ability to adapt to dynamic patient needs and demonstrate flexibility in treatment approaches
- Basic proficiency in assistive technologies and modalities utilized in patient care
- Current CPR certification
- Two years of related experience
