Job Summary
Evaluate patients' physical conditions to establish individualized treatment plans aligned with rehabilitation goals. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises tailored to alleviate pain and promote physical well-being while educating them on proper body mechanics and home regimes. Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to facilitate healing, and monitor progress by documenting improvements in range of motion and strength. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists to enhance patient outcomes. Maintain organized treatment areas and ensure therapeutic supplies are readily available. This full-time role offers a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 and includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear patient education and documentation
