Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based protocols. Implement therapeutic interventions for outpatient orthopedic clients, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to those with chronic pain or sports injuries. Document progress meticulously, engage in patient education, and lead discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and participate in regular meetings to improve processes. Requires a DPT, NJ license, and two years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program
- A valid state license to practice as a DPT in New Jersey
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management
