Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability, alleviate pain, and restore mobility. Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic and prognostic assessments of muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities to determine rehabilitation needs. Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective treatment execution while administering modalities such as traction, massage, and therapeutic exercises. Evaluate and suggest modifications to home environments to facilitate patient independence. Maintain meticulous clinical records including progress notes and discharge summaries to ensure compliance. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and device usage. Join multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss overall patient care and update treatment plans. Submit a resume and cover letter detailing relevant experience and commitment to patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Graduated from a recognized physical therapy educational institution
- Current physical therapy licensure in good standing in Florida
- One (1) year of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting
- Current certification in CPR
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to make informed decisions and take accountability for outcomes
- Effective communication skills, fostering engagement with patients and their families, while also ensuring clear collaboration with teammates
- A commitment to ethical practice, alongside a genuine passion for delivering quality patient care through an exceptional service model
