Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans for clients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and sports-related conditions. Supervise physical therapy assistants, utilize manual therapeutic techniques, and instruct patients on exercises and home programs to promote recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during case conferences and maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical record systems. Perform ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary. Work onsite Monday through Friday in a collaborative outpatient environment. Submit a resume and cover letter detailing experience and passion for patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record free from sanctions or disciplinary actions
- Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy modalities and creation of effective therapeutic exercise programs
- Proficient use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, for seamless documentation and patient tracking
- A commitment to staying updated with the latest physical therapy practices, research, and methodologies
- Experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings
- A background in sports rehabilitation therapy or advanced certifications in manual therapy techniques
