Job Summary

Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' functional abilities and design personalized treatment plans. Implement innovative physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and improving muscle function. Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to treatment goals. Deliver in-home therapy sessions and administer therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and specialized treatments such as traction and massages. Assess clients' home environments for modifications and evaluate prosthetic and orthotic devices for adjustments. Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop care plans and educate patients on wellness strategies. Maintain accurate clinical records and submit documentation for compliance. This role operates Monday through Friday at our Edison, New Jersey outpatient facility, with a salary of $100,000 to $120,000.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • A current CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • A passion for clinical excellence and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients and team members collaboratively.

Desired Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in acute care or home care settings.
  • Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting with a focus on rehabilitation.
  • Keen familiarity with federal, state, and regulatory requirements governing physical therapy.
  • A history of engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing treatment outcomes through teamwork.
