Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to establish patient goals and individualized care plans for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Manage an efficient caseload seeing one patient per hour while delivering evidence-based treatments including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Implement and monitor rehabilitation progress, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Document all interactions and treatments meticulously and educate patients on lifestyle changes to promote strength and mobility. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care within our 5000-square-foot outpatient facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Clean record free from any disciplinary actions
- Demonstrated competence in manual therapy techniques
- Experience in developing comprehensive exercise regimens
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Familiarity with the rehabilitation process
- Experience in patient management
- A background in developing and conducting programs focused on improving patients' functional outcomes
