Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and rehabilitation needs, managing a load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized care. Utilize prior orthopedic outpatient experience to deliver cost-effective solutions that enhance motion, mobility, and quality of life while minimizing medication dependence. Craft customized care plans integrating therapeutic techniques and design fitness programs tailored to specific patient requirements for strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Collaborate with a team of two physical therapists and one assistant, evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly, and document all services for accurate compliance. Guide patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and sports injuries toward independence through evidence-based practices and open communication.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California with no disciplinary actions
- Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise regimens
- Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a supportive patient experience
Desired Qualifications
- At least three years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting
