Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and limitations, then develop and manage individualized treatment plans for orthopedic outpatient recovery. Allocate one-on-one treatment time to a caseload of one patient per hour, providing evidence-based therapies to improve range of motion, strength, and mobility while reducing medication reliance. Maintain detailed documentation in WebPT EMR software and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to continuously evaluate and modify treatment effectiveness. Focus on post-operative and sports injury patients, creating tailored fitness programs to empower functional independence. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM as part of a small, PT-owned practice dedicated to patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Active and valid New Jersey license to practice physical therapy
- Unblemished professional record free from board or disciplinary actions
- Strong manual therapy skills and competence in developing effective exercise protocols tailored to patients' needs
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems like WebPT
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with patients and staff alike
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated success in treating patients with various orthopedic conditions and injuries
- Experience in implementing and monitoring customized rehabilitation regimens
