Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop evidence-based treatment plans. Create individualized care plans incorporating therapeutic interventions, exercise regimens, and manual therapy techniques tailored to each patient's unique needs. Implement hands-on techniques, including modalities such as heat and electrical stimulation, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Provide patient education on body mechanics and posture alignment while monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies. Maintain accurate, detailed patient documentation in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting
