Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual recovery needs and goals, then develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy and exercise prescription. Maintain a manageable caseload while documenting all services accurately in WebPT to track progress. Regularly evaluate interventions based on recovery milestones and educate patients on home exercises for strength and condition management. Collaborate with physicians and support staff to provide integrated care for orthopedic outpatient patients recovering from sports injuries, post-operative procedures, or chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in various manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, especially WebPT, for clinical documentation and patient management.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage patients
